Emma’s Surprise Birthday

A rainy day can’t ruin this surprise birthday party. Seriously, though! Madhava threw his wife Emma the most adorable surprise birthday on the rainiest of days in Brisbane. Not ideal at all, but it all worked out in the end.

The day started off with lunch a local Brisbane restaurant where guests turned up in their best cruise outfit to match the Caribbean theme. Dogs were invited too - as a little surprise for Emma who just loves one of her friend’s dogs.

Not long after, the weather took a quick turn of events and rain started bucketing down (what fun!). The planned dog walk was swapped out for an undercover mystery hunt. Some games, laughs and dog themed cupcakes after, Madhava had given Emma a riddle to unlock a code to open a bag revealing a special gift for her. You may have guessed it - a dog.
